The Past year have been a great starting point for a life-skill trainings for our love and Care teens in order to make them aware of important Life skills such as psychosocial competencies and interpersonal skills that help them make informed decisions, solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, build healthy relationships, empathize with others, and cope with managing their lives in a healthy and productive manner. Accordingly the training topics covered in the past year is listed below.

Accordingly the training topics covered in the past year is listed below.

Identity formation

The teenage years are usually the first time an individual begins thinking about how their identity may affect their future and their life. This results in many teens becoming extremely self-conscious about themselves and the way others see them and can result in a self-discovery and experimental stage. In that case identity formation training was given for the kids In order to deliver them valuable information on how they should learn to develop and discover their identity in a healthy and age-appropriate way.

Decision Making

To help our kids be more independent and, responsible and confident, we taught them about decision making to makes them conscious about the decisions they have to make in their lives , reduce anxiety and encourage them to solidify their values.

Time management

Developing effective time management skills increases focus and limits distractions. Managing time makes one plan better and prioritize better. This lesson helps our kids to schedule their most important work and be productive on more essential matters.

Excellence

Personal Excellence is the journey of positive development beyond one’s self and is a step by step process of improving oneself in every aspects of life. Personal excellence is to improve your performance consistently and continuously. We tell the kids that personal excellence does not reflect perfection and being perfectionist. It is a process of becoming better of oneself, and do better and better in all aspects of life like education, career, relationships, etc.

Self-discipline

Teaching Self-discipline to our kids allows them to stay focused on their goals. It enables them to stay in control of their selves and of their reaction to any situation. By awaring them that lack of self-discipline can cause low self-esteem, we encourage our kids to resist unhealthy temptations, and tolerate the discomfort needed to reach their long-term goals.

Vision

Since vision embodies our hopes and ideas. we deliver the kids valuable information on helping our kids having a sense of purpose, making them strong through all their lives even though there are obstacles, and keeping them focused on their life goal which their vision can benefit many others not only them.

Goal- Setting

Goal-Setting was also a topic covered. In order to help the Kids increase self-confidence, develop their work ethic and build perseverance the topic was very essential. Goals give them something to work toward, purpose to keep them motivated and exert a hard work to achieve what they have set as a goal.
