On Wednesday May 1st 2019, we will be having an Easter carnival for our kids age 4 to 12 at Hope University.  Easter is the time of showing the love we received from our heavenly father to others. It is an opportunity for us to share our love with His little ones by being a friend to one or two orphans this Easter and buy them a gift. Be a friend !

The Love and Care volunteers’ team will do it’s a regular visit to Juvenile Detention Center kids on May 11th, 2019 starting 9 AM to 12:00 PM. The Juvenile Detention Center is located in Addis Ababa around Lideta sub-city.  We will have a blood donation program on March 23rd, 2019 at Morning Star Mall for the sake of orphan and vulnerable kids starting 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Here comes Christmas program for the 350 teen orphans that will come from 17 different orphanages to be held at Desta Mender on Jan 12 2019.

They have given us their wish list for Christmas. The gifts they listed down are one from the following- shoes, sweaters, cosmetics, body tshirt with underwear or shorts.
Let us fulfill their wish by sponsoring their gifts and food cost that might be around 20USD per child

Love and Care for His Little One’s ministry held an awareness event and worship night in partnership with McLean Bible Church on July 6that McLean Bible Church in Vienna Virginia. The event included presentation by Rahel Asheber the team coordinator, Bemnet Woldemichael our US focal point, two former KVI kids named Adanch and Tsegaye Geiger who currently reside in the USA , an amazing worship by Singer Dawit Getachew one of the leader of this team, a music band and vocalists from the DC Area, a presentation from McLean Church by Sister Naomi Haile and small fund raising by Intern-Pastor Muluneh Taye - a volunteer as well.

We also would like to focus on health and we will give them some health tips. Their gift item this time will be sanitary items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, vaseline, body wash and the like. The cost per child is around is 15USD. Your love gift is highly appreciated as usual.

Love and Care - an Addis based volunteers group -has teamed up with Afri Health TRADING PLC- to invite over 600 orphan and vulnerable children for a day we have named: FASIKA & HEALTH! 

AFRI Health TRADING PLC is a Health focused Television Broadcasting Agency that aims to produce medical TV show for the consumption of Ethiopia and other African countries. (http://www.afrihealth.net/)

On March 17, 2018, at Hope University the children will spend a day full of fun and plenty of games, but above all it will be a great opportunity to love and care for these little ones in beautiful ways:

We have arranged a free medical camp for general check-ups and giving health tips to be done by volunteer doctors and specialists. We plan to rent various game items and provide the children with lunch and some snacks through the day. And at last some gifts.
